This is a brand new incarnation of my blog with a new name, a new look and feel, and a new focus. Its previous embodiment, Tribal Boogie, was about the evolution of communications; how the way we communicate has changed over the last few years and how, in many cases, businesses are struggling to keep pace with that change. But nothing lasts forever, and my blog has now undergone an evolution of its own that better reflects where I am now.
I’ve since had a complete break from social media. Ten whole days of ‘the real world’ with no tweeting, no Facebook, no LinkingIn, no blogging and no Flickring. Not once did I venture into social media. I went out for meals with my wife. I petted rabbits and donkeys with my 14 month old daughter. I spent time with my parents. I replaced the light fittings in my living room that had been steadily dying, one by one, for the last few months. Simple pleasures, but real pleasures. And not a tweet in sight.
