I’ve been making media appearances and speaking at communications industry events for nearly a decade. With a career spanning twenty years and over 200 brands and organisations, I am exceptionally well-qualified to talk in the media and to deliver engaging keynote presentations on a wide range of topics.
In the last couple of years I have spoken about topics as varied as: the impact of technology and AI on the communications industry; the data privacy issues at Facebook; mental health in communications; effective social media advertising; the role of social media in recruitment; the royal family’s use of social media; and evaluation of digital marketing campaigns.
In the last 18 months alone I’ve been invited to appear on the BBC’s Victoria Derbyshire programme, 5 News for ITN, the Channel 4 News and Talk Radio, as well as to comment for numerous print publications and websites. I’m also regularly asked to appear as a guest on podcasts.
I understand that the nature of breaking news means responding quickly, so if you’re looking for a spokesperson for TV, radio, written news or a podcast, please don’t hesitate to get in touch either by calling me on 07533 026066, using the WhatsApp icon on the bottom right of this page, or by emailing me.
In 2012 I was the only representative of the public relations industry to speak at Internet World, the UK’s largest digital conference. And since then I’ve delivered many different types of presentations to audiences ranging from ten to 300 people.
Whatever your needs, I will create a keynote that delivers against your specific areas of interest. I like to push the envelope a little and to get people thinking differently. But I always aim to deliver content and ideas that are practical and actionable.
A recent client said to me about a keynote I gave that “it’s rare that someone can relate so many diverse elements back to marketing and communications, and that was so refreshing”.
Recent speaking engagements include Virgin’s Global Communications Conference, the Oxford University Colleges annual event, PR Fest and, of course, Digital Download Live, which I have organised and presented for three years.
I do love a good debate. And perhaps more than that, I understand civil discourse and how to behave on a panel, so I know when to talk and when to shut up!
In the last few years I’ve taken part in many panel debates on topics ranging from the future of communications to whether it’s time to ditch social media to the value (or not) of influencer marketing. So if you’re looking for a panel member who’ll speak his mind and will also add value, please do get in touch.
